JJ Sobey - Sketch Designer
My name is JJ Sobey. I live in Montreal with my husband, two kids and three cats. I speak two languages. I am an unabashed geek and a coffee fanatic. I have been scrapping for about 6 years, and my kids are the main subjects (though not the only subject) of my work. I switch between shabby and more artsy/mixed media/freestyle depending on what project I'm working on. I love to use embellishments and colour, and if it's not moving, I will mist it.

Darlene D'Eon - Sketch Designer

Hi, I'm Darlene D'Eon. I live on Canada's beautiful east coast near Digby, Nova Scotia. I've been married to my best friend for 27years and we have two grown children, Keith who is 24, and Bee who is 22. Keith is married and therefore we have a beautiful daughter in law too! Kids make me happy, now to get some grandchildren added to the mix would be awesome!!

I've been involved in some sort of crafting my whole life. When my kids were little and I was a SAHM, I helped supplement the family income with quilting and other needlework. I took up scrapbooking around 7 years ago. I love everything about it, but one thing that makes it really special for me is that it's all for me and my family. It's not something that I'm making because I hope to sell it someday, it's for us, about us and hopefully will stay a part of our lives for years to come! Most of my work is family oriented, daily life, kids, pets, weddings, birthdays, all the things that make family life so much fun. And of course a few not so fun things thrown into the mix too. It's real life!

I've been a part of LCOM from day 1 and call this place home!! Thanks so much to Tink for asking me to be a part of the sketch team again!

AND -- our Layout Designers!!

Jullene Karl

My name is Jullene Karl, I’m a thirty two year old mum of two young boys who are the main subject of most of my layouts. I’ve been scrapbooking for two years now and am lucky enough to work and teach classes at Kaisercraft. My main love is scrapbooking 12 x 12 layouts but I do love cards and dabble in the occasional off the page item. I can’t really pinpoint what my style is but my layouts are very three dimensional, the more lumpy bumpy with a bit of mixed media thrown in the better, and I often find it hard to stop adding just one more thing to a page. My blog - http://studiojullene.blogspot.com/ Come on over and share the love.

Kirsten Michelsen

Hi I'm Kirsten and I live in the western part of Denmark. I'm happily married to Bernd and we have two adult children and a wonderful dog - an 11 years old "gentleman".
Scrapbooking has been my great passion during the last 6 years, and today I can't live without spending time on this most wonderful hobby. My favorite scrapbooking subjects are travelling, our wonderful dog and my daily life.
I love scrapbooking because I am able to combine things I love to do; photographing, travelling and being creative. It is very important to me to catch the colors and the atmosphere in the photos I'm scrapping.
IRL I am a fulltime medical secretary at the hospital here in Esbjerg, Denmark

Monique Bourgeois

Hi I’m Monique, from New Brunswick, Canada. I’ve e been shacked up with my DH for almost 20yrs, we have two awesome boys, 18 yrs old & 3 yrs old! Yup, 15 yrs apart...LOL
I started scrapping with a friend as a way to not go stir crazy while I was taken off work for my pregnancy, and well, it has now been 3 years, and I am ever so addicted to this wonderful craft. I love everything about it, the creating, the friendships, and of course the shopping, but in truth the part I love the most is the dear friends I have made in these short 3 yrs...I love you all! I can’t wait to meet new scrappy friends. My style, well, I haven’t quite figured that one out yet, I’m a little of everything, but I guess that’s what I like about this art.
Besides scrapping and my family, I also work full time as a 911 Emergency Medical Dispatcher, I love my job, and the rewards it offers at the end of the day, whether it be saving a life or helping someone deal with a loss...it’s a very rewarding career that I have doing for 8yrs now.
Well, that’s me in a nutshell, I’m very outgoing, ask me anything don’t be shy, I don’t bite...not hard at least!!
Here’s my poor little lonely blog, which I am determined to update more often in the coming year.... http://monique-scrapsofme.blogspot.com/

I have been scrapbooking for about 5 years now and it's developed into such a fabulous passion! I love to record the moments of our everyday lives and share them with such a fantastic scrapbooking community. I mostly create single-page layouts however I make the odd card and altered project - usually around a holiday! When it comes to my style, I like to stick to clean lines with a lot of detail, and I have been addicted to twine and paint lately! Feel free to check out my blog - I love visitors! http://brittneyunwritten.blogspot.com/

Michelle Gallant

Hi, my name is Michelle Gallant and I live in New Brunswick, Canada with my husband of 11 years (but we've been together 20), and our 2 beautiful children. I started scrapbooking about 4 years ago after I went to a class with a co-worker. I was instantly hooked! My style has changed over the years and I still don't know what I would call it. My love of scrapbooking has also evolved into a love of photography! I'm still learning on this one. Here is my blog: http://scrapsandpixels.blogspot.com/

Deborah Marasa

I am Deborah Marasa. I live in Winnipeg with my BF and 2 dogs. I have been scrapbooking and card making for over 11 years. I was addicted the moment I started! I can find inspiration everywhere, including favourite blogs, pinterest, clothing, and my talented scrappy friends. I would find it hard to live without label stickers, buttons, doilies, bakers twine, and kraft cardstock. In addition to paper crafting, I equally adore my beagle and lab, slurpees, chocolate, making jewelry, wasting time online, and thrifting. I am super excited to be a part of the design team at LCOM!

Kathy Skou

Hi.. my name is Kathy Skou and I live in Massachusetts with my husband Ed, our 13 year old daughter Caroline and our two crazy kitties Daisy and Rosie. I’ve always been crafty, but I didn’t start scrapbooking until 2003 when I left Corporate America to stay home. My friend was convinced scrapbooking was for me and dragged me to a home scrapbooking party… She was so right! If I had to categorize my style I’d say it’s clean and playful. I love adding a little humor to my layouts. My must haves (right now, it changes) are my sewing machine, twine and foam tape. I love stitching, and usually hand or machine stitch on my projects. I also love adding dimension… there are no flat pages in my books! Sketches are another staple of mine… I love how you can start with the basic framework and mold it to make it your own.
When I’m not scrapping, I’m usually driving my daughter somewhere! I also do a lot of volunteer work in town, and teach a few layout classes. You can check out more of my work on my blog: http://kathyskou.blogspot.com.

Nicolle Kramer

My name is Nicolle Kramer . I am 37 and from the chilly city of Buffalo New York. I have been married for 18 years(been together 21yrs) to my handsome hubby Mike. I am lucky enough to be able to be a stay at home mom to my 4 wonderful children. I have 2 boys, Ryan 18, Bret17, and 2 girls Kayla 15,Jolie 9. I have been scrapping for about 7 years. I went to a make n take at Michael's and was instantly hooked.
Describing my scrapbook style is never easy. I guess I would call it eclectic. I am an ever evolving scrapper who loves using bright bold colors, textures and lots of embellishments to enhance the story being told on my page in a unique and creative way that keeps the viewer continually discovering new details every time they see one of my pieces. I enjoy making new connections with folks in this hobby we share in common.

Doris Widder

I am a SAHM with a supportive hubby and 5 wonderful children. I only have one daughter, right smack in the middle of rowdy, very active boys. Though I primarily scrapbook, I also enjoy creating cards, tags and altered art...I'm passionate about pretty much anything that has to do with paper crafting. :-D I don't lock myself into a particular style...what I create depends on the sketch, photos, products and/or colors I'm working with, so each layout tends to be very different from the one before it. I'm completely and totally obsessed with everything Webster's Pages, but also love many other manufacturers including October Afternoon, Crate Paper, G45, Bo Bunny, Pink Paislee, Prima and several others. I'm originally from MD, but have been living in PA for over 12 years.

Raechelle Bellus

Hello! I'm Raechelle (pronounced Rachel) Bellus and I am so excited to be working with the fantastic sketches here! I am married, a mom/full-time step-mom of 6 beautiful children ages 12-22 as well as 4 cats and 2 dogs. I live in Spokane Valley, WA and am a part-time cashier for Michaels. I have been scrapping about 10 years now, and like to create a little bit of everything, although I prefer layouts and making banners. I am thankful that my husband is supportive and encouraging of my passion for playing with paper. I like working with sketches because they are such a great baseline to creating. The possiblities are endless, and it's always fun to see how others end up using the same inspiration in creative and unique ways. I'd love for you to stop by my blog and say hi sometime: http://raebellus.blogspot.com/

Rosemary Nunn

I am Rosemary Nunn and I live in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. I was born in London, England and I am an only child! We moved to Canada when I was 3 so I don’t have any memories of living in England. One of my life long dreams is to travel to many places!!! I am going to get started on that soon!! I have earned my Bachelor of Nursing degree and am presently working in a private clinic. I have been scrapbooking for 10+ years and it quickly became an obsession!! It brings out the creativity in me and allows me to express myself!! Preserving those special memories means the world to me. I am addicted to it AND to buying lots of scrappy goodies!!! I can't label myself with a particular scrappy style, I just love trying new things and new techniques!!! I am thrilled to be part of the LCOM sketch team again!. I love working work with all these amazing, talented ladies!!

Krissy Clark McKee

Hi! I am Krissy Clark McKee. I live deep in the heart of suburbia right outside of Houston, Texas. My husband and I have a blended Brady Bunch family of six kids (boy, girl, boy, girl, boy, girl). Luckily all but the youngest two are out of the house and self-sufficient, except occasionally during dinner time. Our blended family extends to our family pets, which currently include 4 ankle-biting dogs, 2 cats whose greatest desire is to figure out how to open the pantry door, and a pet rat (yes, you did read that correctly)! I drink entirely too much coffee and think Diet Dr. Pepper is one of man’s greatest inventions! I have been papercrafting about two and a half years, and it is a full-fledged obsession. I especially love creating traditional layouts, re-purposing or altering items, and making mini-albums - although as long as I have paper and glue in my hands, I am happy! I am most inspired by pictures of ordinary, everyday events because when I am old and senile, those are the memories I want to look at and read about! Feel free to visit my blog at www.krissyclarkmckee.blogspot.com

Erin Morehouse

My name is Erin Morehouse, and although I grew up in Rothesay New Brunswick, I now call Montreal Quebec home; where I live with my husband and our 3 sons. I'm a stay at home mom with a BFA in Studio Art and Art History. I began with a love of textiles, quilting, painting and the fiber arts before I discovered papercrafting. I've been scrapbooking for about 6 years now, and am finally working on how to merge the artist and the crafter within. I do mostly 12 x 12 layouts, but have been known to make the odd card. My style often changes based on my subject, and product focus, but it's often bright clean and whimsical. I'm slowly becoming friends with my DSLR, and hope to be able to figure out a few more of it's functions this year. I love to be challenged, and find my favorite projects often come from the hardest challenges. I'm thrilled to be working with the sketch designers and design team here at LCOM.

Tara Demerchant-Lewis

Hi all;
My name is Tarah DeMerchant-Lewis and I live in New Brunswick with my husband Jack and daughter Addyson-Ella. I have scrapbooked for 7 years and was addicted immediately. For the past few years I have been teaching Kindergarten; however, due to the fact that I have lost a portion of my vision;at present, I am no longer teaching. I am enjoying spending time with my daughter; whom, is the subject of most of my layouts....lol. I am also enjoying creating challenges for the ladies of LCOM.
I mostly scrapbook 12 x 12 layouts but recently I have taken to card making. I also love to crossstitch, quilt, and paint (although this is a work in progress). I am brand new to the team and so very excited to join this team of wonderfully talented crafters.
I guess I try and "think outside the box" when creating as I think unexpected treasures can come in the least likely place. Happy Crafting:)

Susan McFarlane

Hi! My name is Susan McFarlane and I live in Sunny Southern California. I have been scrapping for about 8 years. What a great way to combine my love of crafting with my love of my family and our memories! I am a budding photographer. I use my children, grandchildren, fur babies - heck anybody/anything who will sit still as my subjects. Between visits to Disneyland and vacations, I have a variety of pictures to scrap. When not scrapping or at Disneyland, I love to sew. I am currently trying my hand at quilts recently.

Tara Thynner

I have been scrapbooking for over ten years. I tagged along with a friend who was given a gift certificate for her birthday and didn’t want to go by herself. After only one class, I caught the scrapbooking fever and has been doing it ever since.
